Ti-Lite® tactical folders evoke the sleek speed and rebellious lines of the classic 1950's-styled switchblade. Unlike most switchblades however, they are legal to carry nearly everywhere.

They feature Japanese made AUS 8A stainless steel blades with a bead blast finish, razor sharp edges and sturdy, needle sharp points. The CNC milled handles are forged from super tough 7075 Aluminum billets and are given an attractive bead blast surface and finished with a protective EDP (Electric Discharge Plating) coating. And for maximum strength and safety, we have equipped our Ti-Lites® with our patent pending, stainless steel leaf spring locks (proven, in our tests, to hold 130 lbs).

For ease of carry, the Ti-Lites® come equipped with a small, but unobtrusive steel pocket clip, and can be opened rapidly by using the thumb studs or by snagging a quillon on the edge of your pocket as you draw your knife out.

We are grateful to custom knife maker, Phil Boguszewski, for his design influence and help in the creation of the Ti-Lites.®

    The Zy-Ex Handled Ti-Lites®
Custom quality folding knives, especially those manufactured with Titanium handles and Titanium leaf spring locks are undeniably strong, lightweight, and beautiful to look at, but they're also quite expensive.

We know that many of our customers love the look of our Ti-Lites® but find the prices a little steep. So we have created some very affordable alternatives. The Zy-Ex Ti-Lite® with a 4 inch blade mimics the look of its more expensive counterparts almost exactly, and our model that features a six inch blade is a completely unique Ti-Lite®, virtually in a class by itself.

Instead of 7075 Aluminum, we used 43% glass filled Zy-Ex for the handles and high quality stainless steel for the leaf spring lock and liners. The results are extraordinarily lightweight knives that are remarkably strong, sharp and good looking, at a price almost everyone can afford.

I carried this knife for almost two years while in the Marine Corps, as well as at my job when I got out. It by far surpassed any other knife in its class. There wasnt a job it couldnt do, from cutting rope, rubber, 6" steel vac hoses. I put this knife through many things they would consider to be gross neglect. I used it as a throwing knife, fighting knife, utility knife (it can open a can of chilli with no problem). It is hands down one of, if not the best knife i've ever owned. I lost it on a jobsite a few years back, finally replaced it recently. But, I can't say it enough, the Ti Lites can take whatever you throw at them and just keep asking for more. Thank you Cold Steel. Semper Fidelis.

I own all four of the Ti Lite knives both 4" models and both 6" models. The Zytel handle 4" goes everywhere with me everyday. I am left handed and find this knife the easiest to learn to deploy quickly both left and right handed draw. It is shaving sharp and will cut or pierce almost anything you would want. It also conceals easily and carries conveniently. The lightning fast draw and deployment has a chilling effect on the uninitiated. Ocassionally I will carry a second knife depending on where and what I am doing and most of the time is is another Ti Lite. The only suggestion is I wish I could move the pocket clip to the other side. Absolutely my favorite blade. Thanks for such a great product.

I love this knife. It is nearly perfect, and is actually razor sharp right out of the box. It slices paper with ease, and holds quite an edge, in addition to its magnificent aesthetic quality. It commands so much attention when you flip out its gleaming blade. However, I do have one complaint. It has very sharp quilons, and can tear your pockets, if you're not wearing high quality pants, or dressier pants (so don't wear them with your chinos). This is mainly due to the fact that orientation of the clip places the quilons down in the pocket. I know some people like to have the option to flip out the knife by snagging it on the pocket, but I would like to see an option to reverse the clip. That is my only complaint. If you're on the fence, I hope this review lead you to purchase this fine blade.

Love it!!! I broke part of the tip off, mostly because I was making a point of how my cold steel knife is better then the crap you get at wal-mart for 10 bucks. Even though a small amount of the tip is missing its still really pointy. This knife has taken so much abuse in the short time since I've had it and it looks like even with all the abuse its going to be with me for several more years.

I have bought this knife about 4 years ago, and I love this, I never thought that a liner lock could be as strong as this!!! really nice, 4" and 6" Ti-Lites are the best and strongest stiletto knives ever made. Also you made a nice work with Tri-Ad lock folding knives - I have a Counter Point 1 and Recon 1 too - and are incredible. Thanks Cold Steel, and is true that you make the world´s strongest knives! (sorry if the orthography is bad, im from Argentina)
