It took Peter LaGana a lifetime of armed combat and months of design and testing to perfect the Vietnam Tomahawk. Now, there's an exact replica of this historic weapon. Like the original Vietnam Tomahawk, our copy is light enough to be carried all day without causing undue fatigue. In combat, this lightness translates into speed; allowing quick changes in direction, even in mid-stroke! The blade of the "hawk" offers a wide, upswept primary edge for tremendous cutting, slashing and chopping potential. The secondary edge on the lower side of the head is specially curved and partially sharpened for both a cutting and hooking attack. When combined with the "V" shaped spike on the back of the hawk head, it is wickedly efficient. It comes complete with a leather sheath in the original oxblood color.

The Vietnam Tomahawk is one of my favorite weapons. It is everything the video portrays. It is super lite, quick and easy to maneuver. I wrap the handle in high quality softball bat tape for a better grip. The sheath is very rigid and stiff, it takes some time and a lot of use to break it in. I have used mine often and almost no sign of wear other than the paint on the head being worn away. The only thing I would like to see would be a synthetic handle with a textured grip option. Awesome product at a great price.

Great looking tomahawk and loved the thought of being able to throw it and have some fun while camping, but for use down under us Aussie's wouldn't really use it for chopping or throwing cause our tree's are just to tough. Even throwing at some stringgy bark (gum tree with soft bar)}the handle broke kinda easy after a few throw's, but the hickory handle is really easy to work with, I reworked it and had it back on in and had it looking good again in no time.
by the way am I able to get more hickory handles for this tomahawk?.:)

I have used it allot and it's a great tool for many applications. I carried it in Afghanistan for a year and numerous other places since. I broke the handle last year and have had it for near ten years.
