The shining star of many of our recent performance tests, our new All Terrain Chopper will out-cut many Machetes, and even put some swords to shame! The sheer cutting power harnessed within the All Terrain Chopper's big, wide, slant-tipped, fully sharpened blade has to be seen to be believed! A well-placed swipe from this powerhouse of a machete will lay waste to almost any obstacle the wilderness may lay before you. Worn either slung over the shoulder or across the back in its weight-distributing carry sheath, the All Terrain Chopper is surprisingly comfortable even when worn for extended periods of time.

Several of our crew members put our carry sheath to the test by wearing the All Terrain Chopper all day while working in our warehouse, training in our gym and going about their usual daily activities. Despite the size and heft of this Machete, all reported back that they found the All Terrain Chopper very easy to wear and that they quickly forgot they were even carrying it!Exhaustively field tested in Australia by Lynn C. Thompson the All Terrain Chopper proved to be a stalwart hunting and wilderness survival companion. More than just a machete, and the next best thing to an axe, it packed astonishing chopping power into an easy to carry package.

A great addition to a load out, the All Terrain Chopper delivers superb performance when you need it.

Okay, you want somthing that will destroy brush and hack down trees with ease? If so you've found it. It's heavy blade makes short work of any tree. 5 inch diameter trees go down in seconds.
It came with an ok blade. But just a few minutes on a grinder and a knife sharpener made it razor sharp. It holds it's edge very nicely. The handle is just the right length for me. It does get quite slippery if you are sweating or if it gets wet. The sheath is alright, the adjusting mechanism comes lose if you brush up against somthing, it could use a lock on it. It is a pain to put the machete into the sheath if it is on your back because of the three buttons and the cloth sheath. The strap can make the shoulder sore if you have it on for or too long. Needs a wider strap. But other then that it doesn't get in the way at all when carrying on the back. And for it's weight it isn't too cumbersome. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because of the sheath. But for the money it's a steal. If your looking into a machete buy this one.

I was looking for a good, all purpose machete to go the extra step beyond the 21" Latin machete already in my tool shed. I saw the price of this one and paid heed to the many favorable reviews and bought it. This monster has more than paid for itself with the work its done in my yard. It'll slice weeds like butter and trim small branches with ease. I've even used it as an axe to hack apart smaller sized branches of mesquite wood with little more than a few dings and notches on the hefty blade. It beats the Latin machete hands down, mainly owing to the extra weight and thickness of the blade. It's probably one of the best bangs for the buck, as far as landscape clearing tools are concerned. It's easy to maintain - I clean with soap & water and sharpen the blade using metal files and a dual grit sharpener before storage in the sheath. The anti-corrosion paint job keeps the rust at bay, but I still add a smidgen of oil to the exposed blade metal.

The downsides to the All Terrain Chopper are that its a bit heavy for the less brawny folk, it ain't purdy, and the sheath is cumbersome to use, but for my needs, this beast is great for its utilitarian value alone.
