Counterfeit Urban Pal

Counterfeit Urban Pal

FAKE VS REAL URBAN PAL

In this example, the most obvious difference between the fake and real Cold Steel Urban Pal is the absence of the key ring on the sheath. But there are also subtle differences too. Notice that the real sheath has a slightly textured surface, as well as a higher level of craftsmanship.

Notice how the serrations on the real blade are crisply delineated and distinct, whereas the fake’s serrations are noticeably softer and less pronounced.

Also, the proportions are not correct on the fake blade. There is more handle and the blade is smaller.

Finally, the real blade has a Kraton grip while the fake’s grip is made of black plastic.
