Had one for several years, stuck and cleaned wild boars, quartered deer with no problems. Until my house was broke into and it was among the items stolen. Keep looking at different knives, nothing seems to compare to this knife!

I've had mine for years now, it's an awesome knife. I've used it for getting through deer breast bones on several hunting trips, I've never had an issue with the edge, no chipping. The handle is plenty "grippy" even with blood on it.

I've had my san mai trail master for over 10 years now it's seen hard use in the field and keeps on going. At first I was hesitant about the price but in the end with it's quality and durability, it was worth it. I love how thick the steel is, it's edge retention, and yes even its weight. It's a mans knife you can bet your life on.
